Guardia di Finanza School of Tax Police: High Course of Tax Police
The “Master on International Taxation” of the University of Hamburg and the “Master in International Tax Planning”of the Sapienza University of Rome planned to hold annually a seminar on a topic on which the students of the two Master courses work together to prepare their presentations.
The School of Tax Police will participate at this Seminar as well, allowing a selected number of officials who attend the High Course of Tax Police to take part of the working group and make their own presentations.
The event is organized in cooperation with the International Tax Law Review.
The Seminar will last three days each focusing on current topics of international taxation under the different perspective of Germany and Italy.
In particular:
- 26 (afternoon): Visit to the German/Italian Representatives.

- 27 (full day): Meeting with TAXUD Officers.
The session will be divided into four topics:
(i) VAT and the green paper;
(ii) the exit taxes after the judgment of the European Court of Justice C-371/10 of 29 November 2011;
(iii) Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base (CCCTB) as a new method to calculate taxable profits;
(iv) the Fiscal Compact as recently approved by the European Concil on 9 December 2011.
- 28 (morning): Discussion about topics treated on 27 April 2012.

As for the prior edition, students from the two Master Courses and officials from the School of Tax Police are working in groups formed both by German and Italian participants to prepare their presentations. The presentations will be discussed with the participants at the Seminar. English language will be used for all presentations, papers and debate.
Participation at the seminar is free.Highly qualified students will be admitted to the scholarship of € [500,00] until all.
